DESCRIPTION:Instructor:\nTim Jones \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Public Safety Instructor Development\nDecember 15 @ 8:00 am – December 17 @ 4:00 pm\nThis three-day course that will provide the student with a fundamental understanding of instruction\, presentation\, and facilitation.  Additionally\, the course will afford students the opportunity to develop a block of instruction and the teaching skills required to facilitate it to law enforcement professionals within their agencies or departments.  Furthermore\, this course will provide practical learning and application opportunities that will be valuable in every teaching and instruction setting. \nCourse Objectives: \n\nIdentify the components of lesson planning and course concepts.\nDistinguish the various teaching and adult learning styles and how they translate into classroom instruction.\nDemonstrate aspects of teaching\, training\, and facilitation by using an array of resources and media.\nApply the components of facilitating and presenting a topic of instruction.\n Design a lesson plan and provide a short media-aided period of instruction on a topic of their choosing.\n\nEquipment Needed: \n\nNotepad\nLaptop
