We all know that some grants\, and the relative funding opportunities\, have been eliminated and/or cut back\, but our course instructor is confident that this is temporary and the “funds will flow” again. It’s important for you and your department to have an edge on how to access and apply for those funds when that happens. This two-phase training provides officers with both classroom instruction and hands-on experience to better recognize cannabis-related impairment in drivers. Attendees will learn about current cannabis trends\, legal considerations\, behavioral indicators\, and enhanced field sobriety test protocols specific to cannabis use.
