Instructional Goal:
In this unit of instruction, the student will be provided a refresher on concepts initially taught during report writing during the Basic Corrections Academy.
Performance Objectives:
At the end of this unit of instruction, the student will be able to accomplish the following objectives as outlined in the lesson:
- Define the three (3) primary reasons for writing reports.
- Define the Plain Writing Principle.
- Identify the six (6) basic interrogatives.
- Identify two (2) methods to improve a report.
- Identify the difference between hearsay and factual reporting.
- Identify the five (5) “C’s” for good report writing.
