Ashley Bedard

Law Enforcement Training Manager

Ashley started her involvement with Law Enforcement at a young age by acquiring many speeding tickets. Then decided to change sides and pursue a degree in Justice Studies. While working on her degree Ashley did an internship for Bridgton Police Department that lead into a full-time position. She supported the Chief, 2 Sergeants and Patrol Staff in daily operations while also building a community policing program. Ashley finished her degree while at Bridgton PD, receiving her Bachelors in Justice Studies with a Minor in Psychology and a couple certificates, summa cum laude. After 5 years with Bridgton she pursued a job with the local Sheriff’s Office, learning the dynamics of County Policing and Civil Paperwork service while maintaining community policing outreach. After just a short time with the SO, Ashley made the move to Dirigo Safety to manage the In-Person Training program and the The Law Enforcement Officers Street Reference Guide.

When not working Ashley best enjoys her time taking adventures with her husband, PJ, and son, Luka. They can usually be found in Bridgton on the lake or camping. They also like to travel frequently down south to see family, and even further south to the Caribbean to see palm trees.
