This class will provide you with the tools and knowledge to properly train a new officer. From ethics to leadership, our FTO class covers the topics needed to both train and evaluate a field trainee.
The objectives of this course include:
- Creating a standardized program
- Role of an FTO
- Ethics and it’s liabilities
- Leadership traits, relationships & conduct
- Effective teaching methods for different learning styles
- Setting expectations and completing evaluations of the trainee
- Example Daily Observation Reports (DOR) and Weekly Observation Reports (WOR)
- Training Scenario’s for application of class objectives
