Instructional Goal

This course of instruction will provide students with a basic understanding of mental illnesses commonly encountered by Correctional Officers, and general knowledge of crisis de-escalation and negotiation.

Performance Objectives

At the end of this unit of instruction, the student will be able to accomplish the following objectives as outlined in the lesson:
