Ashley always had an interest in law enforcement but didn’t pursue it until later in life. She is a graduate of the University of Maine at Augusta with a BS in Justice Studies, a minor in Psychology, and certificates in Community Policing and Forensic Investigations, summa cum laude. While working on her degree, Ashley did an internship with a municipal police department that led to a full-time position for 5 years. She supported the police, fire, and EMA departments. When asked, she would say her greatest achievement was building a community policing program. To advance her knowledge, Ashley pursued a job with a local Sheriff’s Office, learning the dynamics of County Policing and Civil Paperwork service and maintaining community policing outreach. After just a short time with the SO, Ashley made the move to Dirigo Safety to build the training division and manage the Law Enforcement Officers Street Reference guide.
When not working, Ashley best enjoys her time taking adventures with her husband, son, and pup. They can usually be found in Bridgton on the lake camping and boating, or entertaining guests at their home in Oxford County. They also like to travel south to see family in Georgia, and even further south to the Caribbean.
