Presently a training coordinator at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy with responsibility for Basic Corrections (BCTP), Methods of Instruction (MOI), the Supervisory Leadership Development Program (SLDP), Coordination of the Judicial Marshal school and the MERC instructor development.

Graduated from Pretoria College of Education with an H. Dip. Ed. (Biology, Physical Education and History) in 1989. Graduated from the Rand Afrikaans University with a F. Dip. Ed in 1994, specializing in EducationPsychology and School Counselling. I taught High school Biology, Physical Education and History (20 years.) in South Africa and the United Kingdom.

Moved to the USA in 2006. Worked at LL Bean in Freeport in the fly fishing department for three years. Key note speaker at the Spring fishing expo.

Joined Kennebec County Correctional Facility in late 2009 and finally with DOC as a training coordinator at Maine State Prison until joining the MCJA staff in August of 2015.

I have been teaching Report Writing, as well as other topics,  for the MCJA corrections program for ten years.
