Amanda Woolford is from Maine, where she currently serves as the Director of Women’s Services for the Maine Department of Corrections. She is a sesults based leader with almost 20 years of correctional and case management experience to include 13 years of managerial experience at both mid and upper levels. She has been responsible for leading organizational change and transition through several administrations. Amanda has also managed, and implemented innovative organizational, training, and program strategies, making a measurable difference in the lives of those impacted by the criminal justice system and to the health and well-being of both Juvenile and Adult offenders. Experience with both Juvenile and Adult offenders, in community and custody settings. Amanda holds a BS from Northeastern University in Criminal Justice along with and MS from Boston University in Strategic Management within Criminal Justice. Amanda is champion for ethical, dynamic, and cutting-edge correctional practices and passionate about gender responsive and trauma informed approaches.
